Join our growing school with a strong whānau feeling, within a small, beach paradise community, where our vision statement of ‘Navigate together for success’ guides our commitment to developing strong relationships with our ākonga. The majority of our community’s whakapapa is tied to the iwi of Ngāti Kahu, and we strive to provide them with a strong sense of belonging, safety, and the opportunity to achieve their goals. The applicants should be passionate and dedicated educators who share our values of Manaakitanga, Painga, and Mahitahi.
We are seeking candidates with exceptional teaching abilities, knowledge of Mātauranga Māori, and experience in driving pedagogical growth and promoting inclusivity throughout our school.
Our school has the advantage of being situated right behind Taipā Beach, which offers a fantastic outdoor classroom for our students to learn from the ocean, estuary, and whenua. If you are a registered New Zealand teacher/leader seeking a supportive, thriving, and well-resourced team, we invite you to contact Zinnia Smith at zinnias@taipa.school.nz to arrange a visit and tour of our school or a conversation with our Principal, Lisa White
