The Role
Sitting at the heart of our kura, you will be the engine room of our daily operations. You will provide critical support to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and ensure our school runs smoothly, helping to create an environment where our tamariki can thrive.
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for a professional who balances technical skill with a positive, people-first attitude:
- Tech Savvy: Confidence using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. (KAMAR experience is an advantage).
- Precision: A reasonable typing speed and sharp attention to detail.
- Professionalism: A high level of confidentiality and a solutions-focused approach.
- Connection: Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for making a difference.

Relief Teachers – Degree Holders (LAT Support Provided)
The Opportunity: Taipa Area School is seeking degree-qualified individuals who are interested in exploring the world of education. We are looking for reliable, engaging relief teachers to support our students and staff. This could be a perfect opportunity for someone wanting to pursue a career in teaching.
What is a LAT? A Limited Authority to Teach allows individuals without a teaching qualification but with specialist skills or a degree to teach in a temporary capacity. We will sponsor and guide you through the application process.

Are you an expert in your field looking for a way to give back? Taipa Area School invites professionals, tradespeople, and degree-holders to consider Casual Relief Teaching.
We believe that diverse real-world experience makes for incredible learning. Even without a formal teaching qualification, your background in Science/ Trades/ Arts/ Business is highly valuable. We are fully prepared to support eligible candidates through the Limited Authority to Teach (LAT) process.
